Christmas Morning

Christmas was a little uncertain this year. Mark hadn't been been working that much, so I'm not going to beat around the bush...I didn't think we could really pull one of this year...BUT he ended up with a side job, and it was FANTASTIC! Every December we are so blessed, because he has had one every year since we've had kids...at times we're lucky he can do things on the side, because that is seriously how we survived the last 6 months of 2009! All Sier wanted was a Wii...everybody has one but us! I've been trying to talk Mark into one ever since they came out! But he finally got a chance to play one and figured out how much fun they are, so of course we were on the KSL hunt for one! Oh how I love KSL! All Kip wanted was a dam puppy...luckily we talked him out of it pretty easily...our yard isn't all the way fenced in, and we wouldn't want him getting out....it's hard to have a puppy right before a baby is coming because the dog won't like the baby once it gets here...We have a great kid to agree with us...but we aren't off the hook yet, once this baby comes he thinks we're getting a dog! He agreed on a remote helicopter...fantastic! (that was purchased on Christmas Eve!)
Needless to say, we got the Wii! And the helicopter (which NONE of us can work!) Christmas was great. I'm glad the kids are finally understanding the true meaning of Christmas, and the spirit it brings into our home over the Holiday season. I love my family!

PS...Mark loves inviting friends over to play the Wii just as much as the kids do!

Look at all those presents!

Sier loves the Cowboys! (just like his dad)

Kip loves the Bears because of Walter Payton...I know, he really know who he is!

St. George Christmas

Marks dad has a lot of family in St. George, so every few years we got to pack up and go down there for a fun family Christmas Party. It's so fun to see that side of the family because we don't get to very often, and there's so many of us!!
My kids are spoiled, and couldn't stand the car ride, they just don't understand why JetBlue doesn't fly there!...believe me, I wish we did so we wouldn't have to listen to them complain...what have I done??
We told everybody I was pregnant while we were down there, and it was the funniest thing ever! Marks Mom bought a ton of frames years ago to put pictures of her grandkids in; and for the past few years she's been telling everybody she doesn't know what she's going to do with all the extra ones, since one hasn't been filled for almost 5 years...she's been very baby hungry! So I snuck into her house a got one of those frames, and put a picture of a cute little baby in it and wrapped it up. We gave it to her and she was like "what is this for"...I didn't think we'd have to explain! Oh my gosh she was funny!! Jumping up and down, crying, clapping, doing the "happy dance" for minutes...oh how I wish we would have had it on video!! We'll never forget her reaction...PRICELESS...thanks Gaylene!
We went to 2 family parties, and then we went to see the Nativity at the Tuhacan Theater. It was really nice, and most of our family was there. Thanks for the fun everybody!

Santa

Our kids LOVE going to see Santa come to Riverton. We go with our cousins every year, and the kids have so much fun waiting for Santa, going on the caroling wagon ride, eating scones, roasting marshmallows, and playing at the park....who cares if it's freezing cold!

Mark LOVES the scones!

Favorites

Everybody always asking Sier who his favorite is....I think we all know the truth!

Christmas Tree-Hunt 2009

We found a great tree this year! The weather was warm and perfect!!! No mud, No rain, No snow. I have to say I do like it when there is a little snow out there, because the kids have so much fun sledding up and down the dirt road. We were late meeting everybody down there because I had to finish some training classes for work...crappy!!! ....But that's a whole other story. But of course, even though we were a few hours late, we still beat Keith & Laura...No surprise on that one though! Instead of eating soup after, we all hung out around a camp fire...I think I liked that a little better, the kids were able to just do whatever they wanted and had fun playing with each other.

Kip Peeing...he always has to go when we're in nature

New Moon

I know it was soo long ago, but my gosh it was fun! My neighbor (and friend) got us tickets to a midnight showing of New Moon!!! They had "Bella's Birthday Party" before the movie...we ate and played a few trivia games, and got yelled at by the "big butt lady" (hilarious...love you, you know who you are!) I took my s-i-l Jera with me and it was a blast! Can't wait for Eclipse to see what they do with that...thanks Miss Teri!

Ohhh...we love him!

ZOO

The begining of October my sister-in-laws and I took our kids to the zoo. WOW is all I have to say about that. I think it should be against the law when the adults are out numbers 3 to 1....and all the kids were under 10. We did good though! We only lost one of them once!! Oh my gosh we were so panicked, I hate that feeling. The Zoo was CRAZY BUSY that day because it was dress up in your halloween costume day so EVERYBODY was there. But the baby elephant of course made it worth it. Thanks for the fun guys!

Halloween

What is there really to say about Halloween? The kids can't ever decide what they want to be, the idea of me making costumes is just a joke, but for some reason Halloween is just a fun holiday; even though it serves no purpose but getting candy from total strangers. I'm not a fan of trick-or-treating...call me the trick-or-treat grinch. I have no problem giving the sweet treats out, but I don't think kids that I don't know should come to my house...just over-protective parenting. Marks sister took my kids trick-or-treating this year...I think she felt sorry for them! Like they don't get enough candy from ME, GRANDPARENTS, and KIDS AT SCHOOL! But they had fun. They also had fun at G & G Beardens Halloween party. Can't wait for next years fun.

Kip as Jengo Fhet...or Buba Fhet, okay I really can't remember.

But he was starwars!

All of the Bearden cousins. Sier was the cartoon Wolverine! He wore that costume for weeks straight.

Flag Football

Kip has been telling us for years that he thinks "football is going to be my sport". Well, he finally got to try it out this last fall. In our community if you're in 1st grade then you can play flag football. Kip loved it! I've said it before, and I'll say it again...he's not very athletic...YET. Maybe one day he will be. We can definitely tell that he is improving and learning...and he LOVES trying. He was lucky enough to have 3 of his cousins on his team, and some friends from school. Our friend Cory coached the boys, and Mark helped out as much as he could. All the kids had a great time, and it was a lot of fun! Now Kip can't wait until he's 8 so he can do some serious tackling!!

Cabin

In September we went down to Marks Grandparents Cabin. It's fun even though we go down to WORK!! just kiddin'....we play around a lot too. Some of their "neighboors" (who live a mile down the road) took us out to see some of their property...way cool. They have a small herd of African Long-Horn Cattle, and an old fishing pond. The kids loved seeing the cows, feeding all the fish, and learning how to skip rocks. I've NEVER been able to skip rocks very well, but I'm pretty proud to beable to compete against the kids!! Mark, his Dad, and Sexy Grandpa Jay worked on the wood paneling on the ceiling...it looks so good. They've done a great job down in Joseph, and I can't wait until it's finished! Oh ya, thanks to Jesse & Kurt who helped me realize that I don't want a dog!

This was one of the big Long Horns

Caleb with Sier...(Sier loves

being babied by all the older kids!)
