Birthdays!

Both of the boys had birthdays in February! Wow....Kip turned 7 and Sier turned 5. When Kip was born I would always wonder to myself "I wonder what my life is going to be like when he's five years old." Now Sier is 5...What the crap???....and I'll have another little one in just a few months! AHHH....what am I doing? We let them choose what or where they wanted to go to dinner for their birthdays. Kip chose 50 chicken nuggets from McDonalds (and he was sick on his birthday, no fun) Sier chose Tepinyaki...with NO help from me. We didn't have any friends parties for them this year, and it was SO NICE NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT! I really am going to try for that next year to, but I don't think they'll let me get away with it again.
Kip got Marks old pellet gun for his birthday, and was so excited! He thinks it's so awesome because it was his dads. He also wanted a chess set so dang bad...(I know Nerd!) Mark doesn't know how to play chess very well, and I have no idea how to play. Apparently he knows though! One of our friends comes over to play with him, so he's learning.

Sier wanted more of his "star wars collection". He loves those things. They are little star wars guys that are short and squatty...and he has almost all of them! He carry's them everywhere, and almost always has one in his pocket. Kip got him some little batman guys also, and wrapped it in Barbie wrapping paper. Sier was so mad at him! He didn't even want to open his present.

SIERS BIRTHDAY

Sier turned 4 on February 26. I can't believe the little guy is 4!! He was so stinkin' excited for his birthday...I think he was really more excited to eat at Golden Tree (he LOVES their rice, chicken, and red sauce) He had to have Grandma & Grandpa Joe, and his favorite Uncle Steve (who is really Marks cousin) and his wife Jamie come with us. He forgot all about Santa Claus this year! All he wanted for his birthday was a wallet that would fit in his pocket...but of course I couldn't find one anywhere. (it's one of those things when you need it, you can't find it.) So he got a Nintendo DS instead...I know...SPOILED. And I said "I will never get my 4 year old his own DS." Yes, my words are tasting good. Sier didn't get a friend birthday party this year...having 2 birthdays in February is a little draining...so we've decided the "every-other-year" works just great! He was spoiled rotten from everybody!!! He got "Batmam" everything...pajamas (that he didn't take of for 5 days strait), masks, costumes...and of course a red lightsaber so he could be Darth Vader. Man, I sure do love that Kid! (And so does everybody else.)

Marks Birthday Surprise

To make a long story short this is what happened.
1. Bought season tickets to Six Flags for Mark and Me.
2. Thought I would surprise him on his birthday with them and we would fly there.
3. Arranged for a Baby sitter.
4. Woke Mark up at 5:00 am on his birthday to surprise him with the news.
5. Flew to California.
6. Spent 2 1/2 hours in LA traffic driving to Six Flags.
7. It was closed because it was raining..(Disney was still open)
8. Spent 2 more hours in the car driving around Santa Monica, trying to find a Mall.
9. Decided to head back towards Long Beach, ending up in Inglewood.
10. Went to the greatest ROSS ever...too bad the line was sooo long to check out. (45 min. wait)
11. Found a Mall .
12. Spent 1 hour driving back to the airport. (which was only 20 miles away...traffic)
13. Got home at 11:30.

Thanks to Mark for letting me think I surprised him (JUSTIN!!!)...Thanks to my babysitter for watching the kids....Thanks to Mother Nature for having it RAIN all day....Thanks to everybody driving in LA.....Thanks to JetBlue for letting us fly for free!!

I have no pictures, since there was NOTHING exciting about the day. No matter what happened it really is a birthday Mark will NEVER forget!

Kayden's 8!!

Happy Birthday Kayden!! I can't believe that you are already 8 years old. What a great age to be....old enough to get Baptised, mow the lawn, be in second grade, become a cub scout, get your four wheeler licence. Just a few things about Kayden that I love....He lets me call him Jose....He loves Sier and gives him piggy-back rides everywhere....he has beautiful eyes....he is the oldest nephew I have. Happy birthday Kayden, we love you!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Dan

We want to wish our Grandpa Dan a happy birthday!! We forget how old he is because once you turn 50, it doesn't matter how old you are. He doesn't know this, but my kids make fun of him all the time....Whenever they pull their pants up really high they say "Look! I'm Grandpa Dan." It makes us laugh every time they do it. Happy Birthday Grandpa...we love you.

It's FUN to be ONE

This is Alex's little sister Brooklyn. She is one of the happiest babies I have ever known!!! You can take her anywhere and she's fine to sit in her stroller. Whenever you walk into a room where she is a huge smile comes across her face- it's hard not to be happy when she's with you. I have to admit, sometimes I forget when she's around because she is so good!! I love you Brooklyn, one day soon you're going to be saying my name. I LOVE YOU BROOKIE

Today is my niece Alex's 3rd birthday! There are so many reasons why I love her!

She wakes up with her shoes ON.

She can paint her own toe nails.

She's the only person who LOVES my car!

She opens my car door for me everytime I'm going to leave her house.

She loves the color pink.

When she's in trouble, she pretends like she's asleep.

She is very shy, but once she lets you in she is your best friend.

She loves to get her hair done.

She's the youngest girl I know who's had extensions. (okay, only 3 of them because they were pink.)

Kaylee Jo Gilham

Meet Kaylee Jo! She was born on June 30 at about 5:30 in the evening. She was 7lbs 8 ozs, and just over 20 inches long. And of course, she is absolutely beautiful. Her mom is my younger sister Cami, and her dad is Steve. Kaily looks totally different than her older sister, Adylen. Kaily has lots of dark hair, and Adylen had no hair when she was born...it did eventually grow in to be red and curly. Congratulations Cami & Steve- you both are really good parents who will teach your children well, and love them more than anything. Welcome to the world Kaily- We love you already. Happy Birthday Jesse! I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and give you a shout-out on your big day. I hope you got to sit in whatever chair you wanted to at work today! Here are 22 reasons why I love you to pieces.

13. She worked in Key West for a Spring, and Kurt thought he was going to die without her.
